C-Max?

A little frumpy looking on the outside, but quite pleasant on the inside I thought. I mean, not exciting, but pleasant. And the giant glass roof (optional) was kind of cool.

I wish we had gotten both 5- and 7-passenger versions, gas, diesel, and hybrid, manual and automatic.

Ford was ready to do this until changing their mind at the very last minute because of jealous dealers that would rather hawk the Flex.

Yeah, it was the closest I've gotten to one since no one in my family looks at buying Fords. Oh and there's a Fiesta cameo there too.

Yeah I'd rather buy the diesel version over the hybrid like this one.

It's strange really. You're only getting a hybrid version of the 5 seater, we're getting the 5- and 7-seater and a ton of engine options on (depending on the market half to a full dozen, half of those diesels) and a choice between manual and auto. Yet we're not getting a hybrid.

Now for something completely mysterious: For some reason people in the upper-25% of incomes love these. They're not quite as popular as the Fit or Prius where I live, but they're really close. I have no clue why that is. Then again, I am guaranteed to see at least one Tesla any time I drive more than a few miles and usually a few Leafs. I live in the automotive Twilight Zone.
